IA-64

IA-64 is a 64-bit processor architecture developed at Intel that is based on Explicitly Parallel Instruction Computing ( EPIC ) and designed as the foundation for Intel's line of microprocessors through 2005. The Itanium is the first in Intel's line of IA-64 processors.
