Description: In programming, obfuscation is the process of intentionally making code harder to read, for security purposes. PreEmptive Solutions' .NET Obfuscator, also known as dotfuscator, protects .NET applications from source code extraction and subsequent reverse engineering by renaming identifiers, obfuscating metadata and altering the code's control flow. The product comes in three editions -- a freeware Community edition that is included with Visual Studio 2005, a Standard edition that offers integration with build scripts and stack trace translation, and a Professional edition that includes string encryption, incremental obfuscation and integration with MSBuild.
